 About Us

·        Youth Housing Support was established in 1994

·        The service is auspiced by Community Housing Limited and funded by DoCS

 Services

Young people are supported in many ways including assistance to obtain & maintain housing, practical living skills, emotional support, information about education & employment, practical advice, assistance with fines, information about health, relationships and much more.

Referrals are made to assist young people with more complex needs in areas such as physical & emotional abuse, mental health, substance abuse, legal & financial difficulties, counseling, pregnancy & family support.

We also co-facilitate a course called R.E.N.T. which stands for Responsible Educated New Tenant. The course helps young people understand their rights & responsibilities when renting a property. For more information about the RENT course, download a flyer or an application form.
